How to become a member?

I am a first time visitor. Do I have to pay to use the site? Do I have to register?

Quick answer - Using the website is restricted to IERG members?

You need to contact the site administrator or get in touch with the members at the events that are held by IERG.

I am unable to login to IERG website?

Try logging in with the correct user credentials. Try enabling your browser cookies.

Steps to be followed:

2. Under the “Tools” menu, click “Internet Options”
3. Click the “Privacy” tab
4. Click the “Advanced” button
5. Put a check mark in the box for “Override Automatic Cookie Handling”.
6. Select "Accept" option under "First-party Cookies" section.
7. Click “OK”
8. Click “OK”
9. Restart Internet Explorer

Membership - How to become a member ?

IERG's membership consists of senior level executives with significant international experience who are willing to help each other by sharing experiences, leads and contacts. Membership is by invitation only. A subsequent evaluation by members of the screening committee ensures that candidates meet the criteria for membership.

Requirements:
 
1)    International Experience
A member has international experience and a good understanding of the complexities of managing in a global market and has lived and worked a minimum of three + years outside of his or her home country.
 
2)    Senior Executive Level
A member has significant senior executive level background (e.g. C-Level or reporting to C-Level functions in a corporate setting or its  equivalent) with considerable experience in leading other executives.

Has an extensive network of senior executive, private equity/venture capital or recruiter contacts.  Is capable of developing leads to potential senior (particularly C-level) opportunities.

3)    Employment Status
Fits one of the following criteria: Employed, Self employed or In transition
 
4)    Compensation
Is earning currently or has earned a minimum annual base salary of the equivalent of USD $200,000.
 
5)    Group Participation
        a) Regular attendance at meetings if there is a local chapter.
        b) Committed to spending 2-3 hours a week for IERG by working in a committee, or sharing knowledge on how to do business
            globally, finding clients or jobs.

6)    Sharing
Committed to supporting fellow members of the group by:
         a) Sharing access to his or her network with other members.
         b) Active introductions to networking contacts.  
         c) Introductions to business sources, recruiters, private equity/venture capital principals.
         d) Willing to relay one's personal experiences relating to working internationally and job search.
 
7)    Other
         a) Submitting and providing regular updates both to a member profile, resume, and other requested administrative information. 
         b) Payment of dues.

What does IERG do

IERGs principal focus is the enhancement of members & their careers.

Members include senior executives who are fully employed, consulting or in transition.

IERG meets every two weeks in different locations. The meetings are programmed in advance. The programs may include speakers on career advancement and career search topics, current business affairs and other topics related to global business and career development. Ample time is devoted to inter-member networking.

IERG has Chapters in New York and Boston, which schedule their own meetings and events.

In addition, IERG members can initiate emailed communications that are immediately broadcast to all members. These carry news and articles of common interest, and requests for information and assistance on business and career-related matters.

International Executive Resources Group, Inc.(IERG) is a 501(c) (6) non-profit corporation. Its day-to-day operations are led by an ad honorem Steering Committee based in the New York Chapter.

What is IERG for

The International Executive Resources Group (IERG) is an organization of senior businessmen and businesswomen. Its members include CEOs, COOs, presidents, managing directors and others with major responsibilities. What characterizes them is broad experience on both the domestic and global marketplaces North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, Oceania and Africas to conquer the challenges and seize the opportunities that are intrinsic to commerce and finance in the 21st century.

Know-how of global markets is the common driving force behind IERG. The specific disciplines of its members cover the full gamut of skills and experiences an organization requires to thrive in today's business environment. Business functions found among IERG members include, among others.

Who are the users of IERG

The website is aimed at High-level International Business Executives.  The audiences already identified include (although not exclusively):

Examples of typical scenarios of use could be:

The web-based resources developed to meet the above audiences form a key part of the strategy to develop an IERG Infrastructure. Users will have different levels of technology and many will still be using dial-up connections. The website design and functionality should provide a suitable experience for these users with slow Internet connections or other speed-restrictive access.
